Boundary Peak is Nevada's highest point at 13,147 feet, located on the Nevada-California border in the White Mountains. This peak requires a strenuous hike through high desert terrain and offers views of both Nevada's Basin and Range province and California's Sierra Nevada.
History
Named for its location on the state boundary, Boundary Peak is actually a subsidiary summit of Montgomery Peak, which lies entirely in California. The peak represents Nevada's only thirteener and is located within the Inyo National Forest.
