1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using ADK Tracker, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. You must accept these Terms of Service before posting any content or participating in the community features of ADK Tracker.

2. Use License

Permission is granted to temporarily use ADK Tracker for personal, non-commercial transitory viewing only. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:

Modify or copy the materials
Use the materials for any commercial purpose
Attempt to decompile or reverse engineer any software contained on ADK Tracker
Remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials

3. User Accounts

When you create an account with us, you must provide accurate, complete, and current information. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of your account.

You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the service and for any activities or actions under your password.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit, post, or display on or through ADK Tracker. By posting content, you grant us the right to use, modify, publicly perform, publicly display, reproduce, and distribute such content on and through the service.

You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary licenses, rights, consents, and permissions to publish the content you submit.

5. Community Guidelines & Content Policy

ADK Tracker has a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive behavior. Our community is dedicated to sharing hiking experiences and celebrating the outdoors. To maintain a safe and welcoming environment, all users must adhere to the following guidelines:

5.1 Prohibited Content

You may not post, upload, or share content that:

Hate Speech: Promotes hatred, violence, or discrimination against individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic
Harassment & Bullying: Targets, threatens, intimidates, or demeans other users
Violence & Threats: Depicts graphic violence, promotes self-harm, or contains threats against any person or group
Explicit Content: Contains nudity, sexual content, or other material inappropriate for a general audience
Illegal Activity: Promotes or facilitates illegal activities, including drug use, trespassing, or vandalism
Spam & Misinformation: Includes spam, scams, misleading information, or content designed to deceive others
Personal Information: Shares private information about others without their consent
Impersonation: Impersonates another person, organization, or entity

5.2 Reporting & Blocking

If you encounter content that violates these guidelines or see abusive behavior:

Use the Report feature to flag inappropriate posts or comments
Use the Block feature to prevent a user from interacting with you

5.3 Content Moderation & Enforcement

We take all reports seriously and commit to the following:

All reported content will be reviewed within 24 hours
Content that violates these guidelines will be removed immediately
Users who post objectionable content may be permanently banned without warning
Repeat offenders will have their accounts terminated
We reserve the right to remove any content at our sole discretion

5.4 Appeals

If you believe your content was removed in error or your account was wrongly suspended, you may appeal by contacting [email protected]. Appeals will be reviewed within 48 hours.

6. Prohibited Uses

You may not use ADK Tracker:

For any unlawful purpose or to solicit others to perform unlawful acts
To violate any international, federal, provincial or state regulations, rules, laws, or local ordinances
To infringe upon or violate our intellectual property rights or the intellectual property rights of others
To harass, abuse, insult, harm, defame, slander, disparage, intimidate, or discriminate
To submit false or misleading information
To upload or transmit viruses or any other type of malicious code
To circumvent or attempt to circumvent content moderation systems
To create multiple accounts to evade bans or restrictions

7. Disclaimer

The materials on ADK Tracker are provided on an 'as is' basis. ADK Tracker makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims and negates all other warranties including, without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property or other violation of rights.

8. Limitations

In no event shall ADK Tracker or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use ADK Tracker.

9. Safety Disclaimer

Important: Hiking and climbing activities are inherently dangerous. ADK Tracker provides information for educational purposes only. Always:

Check current weather and trail conditions
Inform someone of your hiking plans
Bring appropriate gear and supplies
Know your limits and turn back if conditions are unsafe
Follow Leave No Trace principles

You assume all risk and responsibility for your safety. ADK Tracker is not liable for any injuries, accidents, or incidents that occur during outdoor activities.

10. Account Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including but not limited to:

Violation of these Terms of Service
Violation of Community Guidelines
Posting objectionable content
Abusive behavior toward other users
Creating multiple accounts to evade restrictions

Upon termination, your right to use the service will immediately cease. All content you have posted may be removed at our discretion.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the new Terms of Service on this page with an updated version number. Your continued use of ADK Tracker after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
