East Osceola
#34About East Osceola
East Osceola stands at 4,156 feet and is typically climbed as part of the Mount Osceola loop. The summit is wooded with limited views, but the trail between the peaks features interesting terrain including a rock chimney that requires a moderate scramble. The peak offers a more challenging approach than its western neighbor.
History
East Osceola shares the naming history with Mount Osceola. The peak became recognized as a separate 4,000-footer when more accurate measurements were taken. The loop trail connecting the two peaks became a popular hiking route in the mid-20th century.
