Mount Princeton towers at 14,200 feet (4,328 m) as part of the Collegiate Peaks group. The peak offers several routes, with the standard East Slopes route being most popular. The nearby Princeton Hot Springs provides a perfect post-climb relaxation spot. The summit offers commanding views of the Arkansas Valley below.
History
Named by members of the Hayden Survey who were Princeton alumni, the peak is part of the educational naming theme in the Collegiate Peaks. The area has rich mining history, and the nearby ghost town of St. Elmo attracts history enthusiasts.
